The TSV burghaslach athletics family recently spent a few pleasant and entertaining hours at their annual party in the very well-filled TSV hall, which was garnished with musical interludes by the rain family, consisting of current and former active athletes, virtually the house band of the athletics department, performances by the youngest children's track and field athletes, a demonstration of gymnastic exercises by the youth group, the honoring of athletes for their participation in the club, county, district, northern bavarian and bavarian championships as well as the bavarian cup, the honoring of training leaders and helpers as well as the awarding of the athlete of the year.
After introductory words of the head of the department willy habler, trainer heino wiese reviewed the competition year, thanked all helpers and the other training leaders petra hahn, heike stadthalter and anna schell, and then took over the moderation of the annual celebration.
Record for county championship titles
During the honors of the individual athletes for the titles at various championships, wiese particularly emphasized the number of 129 district championship titles in 2019 – an unprecedented success of the TSV track and field athletes.
As a crowning conclusion, the awarding of the sportsmen of the year 2019 took place. In the youth field, the choice fell on tina lutz, AK W15, who in 2019 won, among other things, eight district championship titles (sprint, relay, long jump, 800 m) and two district championship titles (800 m, 4 x 400 m relay), and also achieved third place in the AK U 18 at the north bavarian championships over 400 m and an outstanding seventh place at the bavarian championships in augsburg over 800 m in a group of significantly older participants.
In the senior category, the choice fell on her mother, kerstin lutz, who won two district titles (cross country and 3000 m), three district titles (cross country, 800 m and 3 x 800 m relay), four bavarian championship titles (800 m, 1500 m, 5000 m, mountain running) and achieved two outstanding fifth places at the german championships in cross country and mountain running, all this in her age group W 45.
Heino wiese was particularly pleased about the success of the U 20 team, which won the bavarian cup for female youth, which "cannot be rated highly enough" reached fourth place, and this in comparison with all very rough athletics clubs in bavaria and as the best team from central franconia, ahead of rough clubs like the LAC quelle furth. This is an outstanding achievement for a small village club, praised wiese. In this bavarian cup, ten disciplines are contested (100 m/400 m/1500 m/long jump/high jump/100 m hurdles/javelin throw/discus/shot put/4 x 100 m), with one participant per club. For the respective places in the individual disciplines points are distributed, which are all added up at the end. This is therefore a very comprehensive and multi-layered performance comparison.
